Airstrikes continued for a second straight day to land on the besieged neighborhoods of Aleppo, Syria. Planes and helicopters have been buzzing the skies all morning. In the Sukkary section of the besieged territories it appears that a barrel bomb landed on a civilian home flattening the structure. The blast was so intense it affected three adjacent buildings as well, toppling the 2nd and 3rd stories to the ground below.
After a nearly 3 week lull, airstrikes in Aleppo have resumed with sometimes devastating consequences. In recent days Russian and Syrian air power have been targeting hospitals around the country. The Syrian regime has maintained that it is fighting terrorists in the besieged territories, however airstrikes continue to land on civilian targets.
